Summit Hosts
Purpose:
Summit IV is a convening of Black-Belt County School System Superintendents of the seventeen traditional Alabama Black-Belt Counties and their instructional leaders to discuss the progress of educational outcomes for scholars within their schools and to empower one another to implement unified strategies that will collectively improve learning outcomes for all scholars in Black-Belt County School Districts. Session content will be targeted to improve coaching in secondary education.
Who Should Attend?
District staff over secondary instructional coaches, district secondary instructional coaches, and/or secondary school leaders and instructional coaches.
Summit IV Outcomes:
Walk away with a structural strategy to unite the district and schools around responsive, relevant, and equitable non-negotiables
Walk away with instructional strategies that, when implemented, leaders and teachers will see equitable practices happening in their schools and classrooms.
